AS Monaco midfielder Adrien Silva admits his future is still tied to Leicester City's plans.

Silva insists he is happy at loan club Monaco but said the decision on his future beyond the summer is in the hands of Leicester.

“Regardless of the club, there is always competition," Silva said ahead of Monaco's clash with Nimes on Saturday night.

“I have never known a club with only one player per position. The competition is only positive for the team.

"I am on loan until the end of the season, I am happy to be here, I feel involved, I am an integral part of the squad If I can continue here I would be very happy.

“For this summer? That decision belongs to Leicester, my club, and Monaco. We cannot talk about that now, the season is not finished."
