Jose Mourinho could be headed to Ligue 1.

The Portuguese boss is still out of a job after his sacking at Manchester United.

He has recently spoken about his desire to win a league in another country, along with a third Champions League title.

According to L'Equipe, Mourinho wants to join a club in Ligue 1. The report has named Monaco and Lyon as possible destinations.

Paris Saint-Germain would be an obvious destination, but they are happy with Thomas Tuchel for at least another season.

Mourinho was rumoured to go back to Real Madrid, but they secured Zinedine Zidane instead.
