AS Roma are considering releasing Javier Pastore from his contract.

The Argentine isn't in new Roma coach Jose Mourinho's plans and has fielded interest from AS Monaco.

Monaco are keen to sign Pastore, though will not match his current Roma wages of €4m.

TMW says Roma are considering handing Pastore a free transfer and a pay-off to help ASM in negotiations.

The Giallorosso are eager to clear Pastore off the books in the coming weeks.
