Monaco haggling with Chelsea over Bakayoko terms

AS Monaco are haggling with Chelsea over terms for Tiemoue Bakayoko.

RMC says Monaco are exploring the possibility of signing former star Bakayoko on a season-long loan while also pursuing a move for AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.

Although the club are thought to favour a move for Kessie and are willing to match Milan's £22.7m asking price, it is believed the 22-year-old's wage demands could prove too high.

It had previously been claimed that Chelsea transfer chief Marina Granovskaia had blocked a transfer because she did not believe Leonardo Jardim's side to be big enough to showcase the player's value.

However, Chelsea are now open to allowing Bakayoko to rejoin Monaco after receiving limited interest for the midfielder.
