AS Monaco are expecting a bid from Newcastle United today for Emmanuel Riviere.

The Evening Chronicle says it emerged last week that the club had expressed an interest in Rivière.

And while the Cabella has taken priority over the last few days, Monaco believes Newcastle will make a bid for a player they would allow to leave for a fee close to £7m.
