Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing a new defender this summer.
Manager Jose Mourinho is likely to lose Jan Vertonghen on a free, while Juan Foyth may move on as well.
And AS reports that Tottenham are interested in Monaco defender Guillermo Maripan.
The Chilean is also being pursued by the likes of Watford and West Ham United.
Responding to the links when speaking to Al Aire in Chile, Maripan said: "Personally I have always liked the Premier League a lot.
"I have always wanted to play there, so I am aiming there."
Maripan arrived at Monaco last summer for €18 million, and they would like a fee in the region of €50 million to sell him.
It is possible that COVID-19 related financial issues would push Monaco to lower their asking price.
