Chelsea loanee Radamel Falcao could still be recalled by parent club Monaco during the January transfer window, according to reports.
Falcao has been sidelined since sustaining a thigh injury in October, but The Telegraph is reporting Monaco have been in contact with the Colombian to discuss the possibility of him returning to the Ligue 1 club to complete his recovery.
There are also rumours floating around that Monaco want Falcao back for the second part of the season as they strive to ensure a top-three finish in Ligue 1 and subsequent spot in the Champions League.
Falcao has scored just one goal since joining the Blues on loan during the summer.
It is understood Chelsea are already preparing for life without the striker as they consider a move for Corinthians forward Alexandre Pato.
