AS Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim is worried about French football after PSG's Champions League elimination this week.
PSG were dumped out of the competition by Manchester United on Wednesday.
Jardim lamented, "Sincerely, the Champions League is a very tough competition.
"It's not easy to reach the final, semi-final or even quarter-final. What happened yesterday is not good for French football because we have a good championship.
"It's not good for our side and our image. It's not easy to get to this level. Every season, everyone expects a lot, but what has happened in recent years shows that it is not easy for French teams to aim better than the quarter-finals."
