AS Monaco coach Thierry Henry has jumped into the battle for Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

Off contract in June, Cesc has been put up for sale by Chelsea ahead of the January for a price of £7-8m.

AC Milan and Roma are in talks with Cesc and Chelsea, as is Atletico Madrid.

And Nice-Matin says Henry is also keen on the former Arsenal captain as he attempts to stave off relegation. The pair played together at Arsenal for four years.

Further strengthening Henry's chances is he shares with Cesc the same agent, Darren Dein.
