AS Monaco chief Michael Emenalo is watching Crystal Palace ace Wilfried Zaha.

London News Online says Zaha has been watched by Monaco sporting director Michael Emenalo as the French giants step up their pursuit ahead of a January move.

Crystal Palace winger Zaha was scouted by former Chelsea official Emenalo during last weekend's 1-0 victory over Huddersfield - where Zaha netted the game's only goal.

The Ligue 1 side is in the market for a new forward after Thomas Lemar joined Atletico Madrid in the summer.

Zaha was a summer target for Chelsea and Tottenham but instead he signed a five-year deal to stay at Selhurst Park in August.

The Blues and Spurs are likely to resume their interest if Monaco continue to sniff around.
