AS Monaco are chasing Arsenal captain Laurent Koscielny.

The Daily Express says the long serving central defender still has 12 months left to run on his contract at the Emirates Stadium but Arsenal bosses are stalling on giving him a new deal.

Koscielny, 33, who was signed from Lorient in 2010 could make his last appearance for the club in this week's Europa League Final against Chelsea.

The two time FA Cup winner has appeared 29 times in all competitions this season is a leading target for Monaco who want a big name central defender.

The former French international is also attracting the interest of Rennes in his homeland and will weigh up his future after talks with Unai Emery.
