Monaco cannot recall Djibril Sidibe from his season-long loan spell at Everton.

The 27-year-old full-back is at Goodison Park for the season, making his first Premier League start last weekend against West Ham.

It had been reported in French media that Monaco were considering terminating his Everton deal amid interest from AC Milan.

But the Liverpool Echo says they cannot recall him midway through the season.

Everton also have a clause in the loan agreement whereby they can purchase the World Cup winner next summer.
