Former Juventus chief Luciano Moggi has scoffed at Antonio Cassano's Bianconeri claims.
The ex-AS Roma and Inter Milan striker insisted this week he rejected Juve multiple times during his career.
But Moggi declared in Libero: "Nobody would waste time trying to get Cassano four times to Juve, much less yours truly, who has had the good fortune to direct the club for 12 years.
"Maybe for Antonio he would've been lucky to wear those colors, surely he would have avoided many of his problems."
Cassano is currently a free agent after leaving crisis club Parma last month.
