Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is keen on Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Ante Coric.

Word of United's interest has reached Luka Modric, who has warned Real Madrid they risk missing out on the young Croatian.

Don Balon says Modric has been talking to Real directors about Coric and his potential for over a year and now is concerned they're set to miss out on the youngster.

Just 20, Coric is already a full international and plays with Modric for the Croatian national team.

Mourinho has identified Coric as a priority signing for 2018, with contact already being made. Modric has learned of United's approach and is pushing Real to respond before it's too late.
