Sochaux striker Modibo Maiga is pushing to get his dream move to Newcastle United.
The Daily Mail says Maiga held talks with his club president over the weekend in a bid to push along a proposed £7m move.
Maiga, 23, has refused to play and missed their 2-1 win at Nancy.
