AC Milan have launched a new mobile app offering fans exclusive content and ticketing options, as well as live match streams, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.
The platform aired Milan's final pre-season friendly against Serie C outfit Cesena on 17th August. The stream was exclusive to view via iOS on this occasion, though the app will also be made available via Android for the start of the regular season on 25th August.
In addition to its streaming feature, the app is available for free in both Italian and English, and also offers users live match and team updates including a rolling blog, as well as access to the club's integrated ticket and merchandise stores.
The new app is also a direct gateway to the social media accounts of the club's players, which will be made available via a new Daily Best Of feature, which includes the most popular club content shared on Instagram and Twitter.
Users will also gain access to exclusive behind-the-scenes content from the club's facilities at Milanello, Casa Milan, Vismara and the San Siro stadium. Fans will also be given the opportunity to vote for the club's player of the match via the platform.
