MLS eagerly anticipating All-Star meeting with 'world-class' Tottenham

Major League Soccer is bracing itself for another exciting All-Star encounter this year.

English Premier League club Tottenham has been confirmed as the opponent for the 2015 AT&T MLS All-Star Game which will take place at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Denver on July 29.

It will be the 20th edition of the fixture which comprises the best players in the USA and Canada's top flight against quality opposition from Europe.

Of the summer clash, MLS President and Deputy Commissioner Mark Abbott said: "We are excited to welcome another world-class opponent in Tottenham and look forward to a competitive match and a tremendous week of events.

"The AT&T MLS All-Star Game continues to be one of the most entertaining and widely anticipated traditions for our League and for our sport in North America.

"We know that the Colorado Rapids, one of our inaugural clubs, will be great hosts and that Dick's Sporting Goods Park will impress both the fans in the stadium and television viewers throughout the world."

Former clubs to have played against the All-Stars include Chelsea, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and AS Roma.
