Major League Soccer and Liga MX have announced the broadcast partners for the inaugural Leagues Cup, a new mid-season competition featuring teams from both leagues which begins on July 23, reports SportBusiness.

In the United States, the tournament will appear in Spanish on Univision networks and in English on ESPN networks, including ESPN, ESPN2, direct-to-consumer platform ESPN+, and the ESPN App.

In Canada, it will be televised on TSN and TVA Sports, while in Mexico it will be on TUDN, Canal 5, and Nu9ve.

The Leagues Cup is a Concacaf-sanctioned event, which features four clubs from each league in an eight-team, single-elimination tournament. The final will take place Sept. 18 at a US city and venue to be announced, possibly in Las Vegas.

It is the second competition between MLS and Liga MX teams that has been established in the last two seasons. Last year, the Campeonas Cup debuted in September pitting the previous season's winners of both leagues in a one-off match.
