Mkhitaryan back, Rooney, Shaw, Bailly out as Man Utd prepare for Rostov

Henrikh Mkhitaryan returns but a key trio will miss Manchester United's Europa League encounter against Rostov on Thursday night.

United flew to Russia on Tuesday night for their Round of 16 encounter against Rostov and the Red Devils have been handed a huge boost ahead of the clash with the inclusion of star attacker Mkhitaryan in the squad following his return to full fitness.

The Armenian has been out since injuring has hamstring moments after scoring against St Etienne last month.

While Micki is back in the fray, Jose Mourinho will not be able to call on the services of defender Eric Bailly due to suspension while the duo of Luke Shaw and Wayne Rooney have been left at home due to fitness concerns despite starting against AFC Bournemouth on the weekend.

Midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has also stayed in Manchester.

Star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been included before his three-match FA ban kicks in on Monday night in the FA Cup quarter-final against Chelsea.
