Arsenal's Ryo Miyaichi will be sidelined for the remainder of the campaign.
The 21-year old Japanese winger seriously injured his hamstring while playing for the Gunners' U21s on the weekend and will now miss the rest of the campaign.
Miyaichi, who had a severe ankle problem about 12 months ago, has managed just one Premier League appearance this term for a total of five outings in all competitions.
However, reports suggest he will have to wait until next season to add to his tally as the hamstring problem is almost certain to deny him more playing time in 2013/14.
