Australian midfielder Srecko Mitrovic says there's more to come from him at East Bengal. Mitrovic made his first start for his new club last week in East Bengal's impressive 3-0 defeat of Shillong Lajong.

The former Ascoli junior told tribalfootball.com: "I had really good game on Thursday night.

"My fitness is getting better and better, and I'm still getting used to the weather here because it gets really hot! I have settled really well at the East Bengal Club and all of the club members have been really good since I have moved here.

"I have been accepted really well by all my teammates and the fans.. people in this city really love football and the East Bengal Club."

On the arrival of recently-appointed coach Philippe de Ridder, Mitrovic adds: "Mr Ridder has come in last week and he has done a brilliant job already.

"He knows alot about football and there is alot to learn from him, and I really enjoy working with him."
