Mitrovic admits Fulham 'angry at ourselves' after Aston Villa defeat

Aleksandar Mitrovic admits there is a lot of disappointment inside Fulham's dressing room after defeat to Aston Villa.

Mitrovic struck for Fulham, but Villa ran out comfortable 3-1 winners.

He later said, "[We're] very sad and disappointed and angry at ourselves. We had a good 60 minutes, we played tough football, we scored a goal and normally this season when we go 1-0 up, especially away ganes, we defend really well but today some mistakes and two goals in three or four minutes -that's not us.

"There is no time to cry a lot, still seven games to play. We have to recover, dust ourselves down and keep working, keep going, keep believeing. We are just three points from the place where we want to be and I think we've shown that against every team we can play good football, we can win. There's a lot to look forward to and be positive. It was not a great result tonight but there's still a lot of points to play for.

"When you are a striker you always want to be on the scoresheet. I tried to stay positive, to go day by day, work really hard and believe in myself and my qualities. It was a bad time but I'm always looking forward, everything that is already done stays behind me."
