Edinson Cavan has reportedly signed a new contract wth PSG.

Sky Italia is reporting that the Uruguayan striker has signed a lucrative extension with the French champions which will see him remain at Parc des Princes until 2020.

Cavani, 29, was being linked with a summer move away from Paris with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United showing significant interest but it appears as though he is fully committed to PSG.

With Zlatan Ibrahimovic set to depart the Ligue 1 champions, some spare cash has been freed up to pay Cavani a reported £6.25million per season, plus another £1.25m in add-ons and bonuses.
