Former AC Milan sports chief Massimiliano Mirabelli admits Zlatan Ibrahimovic has surprised him.
However, he stands by his original opinion that the 38 year-old striker is no long-term solution for the club.
He told TMW: “He is an extraordinary champion. He can score ten more goals from here to the end, but Milan must go beyond Ibrahimovic.
"Work and scheduling cannot be entrusted to a footballer who is in his forties. Ibrahimovic has given something more, the mere fact that his current companions get undressed in the same locker room where there is a footballer whose poster they had in the room helps.
"But we all have a time, even in his forties Ibrahimovic can make a difference. But Milan must also think about the future."
