Former AC Milan director of sport Massimiliano Mirabelli is being linked with Monchi's job at AS Roma.

Il Messaggero says if Monchi leaves, the Giallorossi are planning to bring in Mirabelli.

Mirabelli was pushed out of Milan last summer after Yonghong Li sold the club. He is still reportedly travelling around Europe to scout players in preparation of returning to work.

Monchi has been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United.
