Former AC Milan chief Massimiliano Mirabelli admits he wanted to sign Napoli striker Arek Milik.

Mirabelli says Napoli must do what they can to keep hold of the Pole.

“Milik was an old mission of mine, from the time at Inter," he told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli. “I know him very well and I would have liked to bring him to Milan."

“He made a lot of money going to Napoli, with a very high value and everything became complicated.

“Milik is a great player. I hope he won't leave Napoli, because I think he is a top striker and could play for a big club."
