Former AC Milan director of sport Massimiliano Mirabelli has taken fresh aim at Paolo Maldini.

Mirabelli has made it no secret he feels Maldini is unqualified to be a director with the Rossonero.

And he stated on Tuesday to TMW: “Maldini was a great player, but he should be asked: 'What have you ever done to become a director?'.

“Having him as a director is like a doctor who didn't go to elementary school."

Mirabelli was the director of sport with chief exec Marco Fassone at Milan under former owner Yonghong Li.
