Minders urge Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil to move to US

Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil has been urged to move to the US.

The World Cup winner has been a notable absentee for much of Arsenal's season, having been in the matchday squad on just four occasions, and was Thursday night excluded from the squad that came from behind to beat Vitoria 3-2 at the Emirates.

As such, Ozil's future in north London remains doubtful and the 31-year-old could make a surprise move to the MLS in order to gain regular first team football.

Bleacher Report says those close to the player are trying to convince him to force an Arsenal exit through, with the big money on offer in Major League Soccer an appealing proposition.

LA Galaxy could offer a new home for the German, with reports suggesting that Zlatan Ibrahimovic could leave the club in the New Year.

Should the Swede leave the Galaxy, the five-time MLS champions' wage bill will free up considerably to provide funds to secure Ozil's services.
