Milner is now deciding on his future and has been encouraged by the number of starts he has had recently, while City, ideally, would like to keep him.
He said: "I've played a lot more and enjoyed it.
"When it's like that, there's no place you would rather be.
"It's an amazing club, why would you want to leave?
"But it's a bit frustrating when you're not playing."
