Milner: Liverpool crisis very new for these players

James Milner admits Liverpool's crisis is new territory for the current team.

Milner was speaking at today's Champions League presser after Saturday's home defeat to Leeds United.

Facing Napoli tomorrow, the veteran said: "I think I've seen and experienced most things in the game.

"We've had disappointments as a group before but that's probably from just missing out on the league title by one or two points or losing finals.

"This isn't something we've been through as a group. Which is also a good thing.

"It's important that nothing changes and we stick together and we have to try and keep the dressing room positive.

"If it was one easy fix then you'd fix it.

"We aren't doing things consistently enough. We've had some very good performances but it's something we need to improve on.

"The next game is always the one we can focus on. We know it's not too far off but when you're playing you have to find a rhythm.

"That's been hard with players being out and not having a settled line-up but that's something we have to deal with better."
