Millwall are targeting Huddersfield midfielder Jack Payne.

The Sun says Millwall have targeted Bradford's on-loan midfielder Payne to help their battle avoid relegation.

Payne has made a big impression with Bradford this season on a year-long switch from Premier League Huddersfield.

But Millwall want to cut that short by mounting a £500,000 bid to take him to The Den this month.

Lions boss Neil Harris has been scouring the lower leagues for players to help boost the club's efforts to stay in the Championship.
