Millwall will rival Crewe Alexandra for Tottenham striker Lee Barnard.

"We will look into the Barnard situation again," said Alex technical director Dario Gradi. "We mustn't get caught out. The Liverpool game highlighted we are going to need a physical presence up there. We need a striker. We might have to take a loan player, and the one we had in mind at Spurs is still a possibility."
