West Brom boss Tony Mowbray says Ishmael Miller is edging closer to a training return after undergoing knee surgery.

"Ish is due to a specialist in London, hopefully to get the green light to step it up a little bit more," said Mowbray.

"Hopefully it's all pretty positive at the moment.

"I don't want to sit here and say he will definitely be ready for pre-season but the signs at the moment are pretty positive and progressive and hopefully Ishmael will get the green light to move further and we might see him with his boots on doing some jogging."
