Kenny Miller insists Derby are good enough to survive the drop.
The Scotland international has already experienced a relegation struggle in the English top flight with Wolves and sees plenty of similarities this time around.
"I think we are in a similar situation," he said.
"There is no doubt we are still down there. I think over the four years since I was there previously a gap has developed.
"There is going to be a top six, seven, eight teams that are up there and the rest are going to be fighting.
"As long as we can stay in touch it's always going to be that one win which can take you out of there.
"Because it is a home game Sunday, hopefully we can get the right result and jump out of the bottom three."
