Diego Milito's agent claims Manchester City have launched a bid for the Real Zaragoza striker.

The 29-year-old has been a target for Tottenham, but his agent Adrian Faija has revealed that Mark Hughes' City are the only club that have approached the attacker.

The Spanish press have stated an £8 million bid is being discussed by both clubs for the Argentina international, while Hughes is trying to strengthen a squad that will play in the Uefa Cup next season.

"Manchester City are the only club to have placed a bid with my clients' employers," Faija revealed.
