Atletico have been linked with Arkadiusz Milik, who has one year left on his contract and may be allowed to depart the Stadio San Paolo after the signing of Victor Osimhen.
"Lunch with Gil Marin? It was just a meeting between two people who love each other," De Laurentiis told Corriere dello Sport, without mentioning Milik's name.
In fact, De Laurentiis explained the striker's situation and noted that he wants 40 million euros for the Polish international.
"If Juventus want him, they'll have to pay for him," he said.
"He will go to the highest bidder; I won't give anyone a discount.
"Otherwise, he'll stay here and be considered by the coach."
