Milan 2-2 Real Madrid: Inzaghi double helps Rossoneri to point

AC Milan came from behind before hitting the lead but were eventually held to a 2-2 draw with Real Madrid in Group G of the Champions League.

Madrid hit the lead on the stroke of half-time through Gonzalo Higuain before Filippo Inzaghi struck twice in ten minutes midway through the second half to put Milan ahead.

But a late show from Pedro Leon denied the home side maximum points to enable Madrid to qualify for the Round of 16 whilst Milan remained second on five points.
