Former Real Madrid sports chief Pedja Mijatovic remains unconvinced by Zinedine Zidane's team.

Zidane earned some breathing space this week with a Champions League win at Galatasaray.

But Mijatovic says: “I have said that so far Madrid does not convince me to think that this year it will win many titles.

"We are in the month of October and much remains, but until now Madrid is a team that has to improve a lot.

"Madrid is not playing as they would like to play."

On Thibaut Courtois, he added: "The Madrid goal is well covered. Keylor is gone and Courtois must be supported by all. Madrid is very big and you have to let him adapt. The other day he was very good. You have to let him adapt to Madrid."
