Former Real Madrid chief Pedja Mijatovic believes Zinedine Zidane is trying to recruit Paul Pogba through the press.

Zidane talked up the Manchester United midfielder last week.

And told El Larguero: "If Zidane spoke so clearly about a player like that, he likes him a lot and if he likes him that much, Real Madrid will do everything possible to sign him.

"He is a unique player. He is playing very well at the moment.

"Zidane knows him from previous years, he is French and if he likes him so much they will do everything to sign him."
