Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet feels that finishing in the top four is a minimum requirement for the Reds this season.
The Belgian, who is also hoping to win at least a cup this term, claims that the Merseyside club belong in the Champions League.
"Last year we managed to play in two cup finals, including one in Europe, so hopefully we can win one this year," he said on Sky Sports' Goals on Sunday show.
"We want to do well in the Premier League and the objective is always to get into the top-four. We want to get back in the Champions League.
"This is Liverpool Football Club and the club has a history of challenging in England and also in Europe, and we want to get back to that."
