Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is happy for Pepe Reina to remain at Anfield.

Reina has returned to Anfield following a season on loan at Napoli but Mignolet insisted he is relishing fresh competition for the goalkeeper's jersey.

"Competition can only be a good thing," Mignolet said.

"It makes you a better player. I'm very happy that everyone is here; we'll work hard in training and push each other on to a better level."
