The agent of Simon Mignolet has urged Liverpool to allow the goalkeeper to leave.

Nico Vaessen has confirmed there is interest from Napoli in the Belgium goalkeeper.

He told dhnet.be: "We are talking, but there is no agreement yet.

"It is in the interest of the club to find a solution. Liverpool wants to keep him but he must play. He deserves to evolve in a big team."

On Napoli, Vaessen added: "For them, Simon represents the best option in terms of quality but there is the financial aspect."
