Idrissa Gana Gueye is in doubt for Aston Villa's clash with Leicester City this weekend.

The midfielder sustained a hamstring injury on international duty with Senegal which has forced him out of Tuesday's clash with South Africa.

AfricanFootball.com reports that Gana will undergo a scan on Tuesday morning after injuring the leg in the African Cup of Nations qualifying win over Namibia on the weekend.

Gana has been impressive in the early stages of the Premier League season since moving from French club Lille in the summer but is now in doubt for Sunday's trip to King Power Stadium.
