Middlesbrough target McCormack eyes Fulham exit in bid to get to Premier League

Ross McCormack wants to leave Fulham in a bid to increase his chances of playing in the Premier League.

The 29-year-old striker is hoping to land a move away from Craven Cottage this month with the view of transferring to a team sitting up the top of the Championship table.

According to the Daily Mail, league leaders Middlesbrough have made a £9million bid for McCormack while throwing Kike in for good measure and the former Leeds United star is keen to make the move to the Riverside Stadium.

McCormack has netted 15 goals to sit second on the tier two goalscoring charts but Fulham sit 19th, some 17 points from the promotion playoff positions.
