Middlesbrough are seeking a loan deal for Birmingham City goalkeeper Maik Taylor.
The Daily Mail says Boro want to sign Birmingham goalkeeper Taylor on an emergency loan.
Manager Tony Mowbray is having to find a replacement for first-choice Jason Steele, who tore a muscle in his side during the 5-2 defeat by Reading on Saturday.
Boro have no other senior goalkeeping options with Danny Coyne recovering from hernia surgery and a back problem.
