Manchester United ace Jesse Lingard has picked up the club's Goal of the Month award for March for his stunner in the 3-1 win over Middlesbrough.

Lingard's strike, which put United 2-0 up in the game, claimed 61 percent of votes in a poll on ManUtd.com.

Lingard said: "I was looking for the pass but there weren't any options on at that moment, so I thought I'd hit it and luckily it went in."

Under-18s midfielder Aidan Barlow's strike against Liverpool claimed the second spot with 22% while Henrikh Mkhitaryan's strike against FC Rostov rounded up the top three with nine percent.
