The Sun says he is open to a move to Sheffield Wednesday — if he can go on loan.

The Middlesbrough striker, 26, believes the Owls play his type of attacking football and that he has a chance to repeat his promotion-winning heroics.

But Aston Villa are keen and will buy him if they have to — which is going to make his exit from Boro complicated.

Villa chief Steve Bruce will be backed in his pursuit and he will not give up the chase easily.
