Former Celtic star Scott McDonald is confident Neil Lennon's side will qualify for the Champions League Round of 16.
The Bhoys require at least a point in their final group fixture against Spartak Moscow on December 5 and hope that Benfica are beaten by Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
Middlesbrough striker McDonald, who was a consistent performer for the Celts on the European stage, feels that Lennon's men are strong enough at home top at least draw with Spartak whilst Benfica will struggle against Barca.
"Celtic's home record speaks for itself," said the Australian.
"I think even a point will do next month. They have to better whatever Benfica do.
"But even with a weakened squad, I'd still expect Barcelona to win against Benfica.
"Celtic are more than capable of winning against Spartak.
"Beating them over in Russia was a huge result and they'll be full of confidence now.
"It is going to be another special night at Celtic Park. There have been quite a few in recent years and hopefully this is another one.
"When things aren't going your way, the crowd can give everyone on the pitch a lift.
"You feel invincible at times and I'm sure the players are looking forward to it again."
