Middlesbrough raid for Rangers Miller

New Middlesbrough boss Gordon Strachan is ready to launch a 2million pound January raid on Rangers for Kenny Miller, reports the Scottish Sun. SunSport understands the former Celtic boss is not impressed with his current roster of strikers.

. He's been promised funds will be available to land players to take Boro back to the Premier League.

And Strachan has already made Miller one of his first targets when the transfer window opens along with Old Firm rival Gary Caldwell. The 29-year-old, who has 18 months left on his contract, has scored 17 goals in 49 games since returning to Scotland in 2008.

With the Ibrox outfit £30m in debt every player will have a price when the window opens.
