Fabrizio Miccoli says Palermo must leave everything on the pitch tonight against Europa League opponents FC Thun.
The Sicilians were held to a 2-2 home draw in the first leg of this preliminary round, so must win or earn a stalemate with at least two goals in Switzerland.
"I am fired up by this important challenge," said Miccoli, who scored the last-gasp equaliser.
"I don't know if I will play, but I really do want to do well. We absolutely have to get through to the next round.
"We worked hard all week on this objective and this is why I'm certain we will put in a great performance tomorrow.
"We are optimistic and we can do this."
